Daniel W. Milich

Director of Development


Dan is the Director of Development for Foursquare Properties, Inc. He has a track record of over thirty-five years of experience in land development, concept planning, zoning analysis, land-planning and land entitlement.

Dan’s background includes: municipal and private planning; project and development management; site plan development and review; due diligence and feasibility development and review; budget preparation and presentation; and construction and construction management responsibilities. Additionally, Dan has directed, managed, and coordinated development and construction projects in both the public and private sectors.

While working for private development companies, Dan managed due diligence, feasibility, entitlement and permit processing on more than 50 multi-family and mixed use development sites, totaling over 12,000 units, in Arizona, California, and Washington.

While serving in public planning capacities, Dan was the responsible Project Planner on more than 200 “site development related” or “special” projects (i.e., city-wide Zoning Code Update, city-wide Recreational Trails Element) and processed these before various boards, commissions and councils.

Dan holds a B.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University and an A.A. in Construction Management from Columbia Basin College. Dan is a member of: the American Planning Association; the Planning Association of Washington; and the California Chapter of the American Planning Association Legislative Review team.
